Hailing from Chennai, India, Agnishwar Jayaprakash is the Founder and CEO, Garuda Aerospace, India’s largest drone start-up and an entrepreneur who has been making rapid strides in the Global Changemakers Community. Agnishwar Jayaprakash finished his education from Chettinad Vidyaashram school, Chennai. Later completed Business Strategy at Harvard Business School. Founded Ignite-India, a revolutionary innovation ecosystem established in over 70,000 schools and colleges across India. Over the last 7 years, his advocacy through various initiatives has been instrumental in implementing real-time solutions in rural and semi-urban communities. The United Nations recognized the ecosystem as one of the Top 10 socio-economic initiatives in 2016. He is also a former international swimming champion and an Asian gold medallist.

As an alumnus of the Harvard Business School and having served in the UN under Assistant Secretary General Madam Lakshmi Puri, Agnishwar Jayaprakash had been preparing many impact reports on the power of youth and emerging technology. He wondered how impactful the unison would be, especially in a developing country like India. India is home to the largest youth population in the world. If the full potential of Drone tech could be leveraged, he knew the powerful combo could be used to disrupt multi- billion dollar sectors which is precisely what Garuda is executing today.
