Pallavi Bakhru leads the Family Office and Private Client Services practice at Grant Thornton Bharat, bringing over three decades of expertise in corporate tax, litigation, international arbitration under BIT, tax structuring, and regulatory matters under FEMA. At Grant Thornton, she works closely with promoters, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals on critical aspects of business such as restructuring, tax efficiency, succession planning, governance frameworks, and mentoring NextGen leaders. Previously, Pallavi served as Head of Tax for a large $15 billion natural resources group, where she played a pivotal role in growth strategies.

In recognition of her contributions, she was named among the Top 10 Women in Tax in India by the International Tax Review in 2015.

She is a Chartered Accountant and a fellow member of the ICAI, with 34 years of experience. Pallavi sits on the Partnership Board of Grant Thornton Bharat and serves as an Independent Director on the boards of leading companies such as Vedanta Limited, Hindustan Zinc Limited, Gabriel India Limited, and Neuland Laboratories Limited.

At Grant Thornton, she also leads the UK Corridor and spearheads the annual Britain Meets India Report in partnership with CII and the UK’s Department for International Trade.
